The second self launch. Reduce the power from Max to 4100 rpm at 250 ft AGL to prevent overheat. use 1966 wh 40% capacity remain. Can go up to 3000ft from 600m grass April US west coast runway with 40-50% capacity remain.

The glider flew 45h in Poland and imported to the US. It has arrived in May 2023 and takes long time to Airworthiness certified. I did it by myself without proxy(deligation?). Will be towed a couple times more and try self launch.

Proximity awareness system, SoftRF runs on Lilygo TTGO T-Impulse, aka, bracelet. It is designed to wear like a watch by its belt and smaller than Casio triple sensors. It still needs investigation because its IMU and GNSS are not working.

I took off North Plains glider port. The first youtube video with overlaying flight status which comes from Contour GPS camera. It is a peaceful and relaxed local flight. I exceed 400 hours on this Diana2 which is more than half of her life so far.

I want to upload the info from Breeze Pro to wunderground. However, I can't because - Fail on WiFi connection while the Android phone is connected - Fail on the login of Weather Underground while email and password are correct, - Station shows its WiFi and Breeze Pro connections are fine by previous run of La Crosse View. - Versions of Android phone.

I installed Kobo Aura2 in the Corral which browses glideandseek.com. It shows Flarm or SoftRF equipped gliders around North Plains glider port. In addition, the video shows where is the power switch which turn on/off WiFi extender, how battery voltage is displayed and how Flarm or SoftRF equipped gliders are shown.

It has Heltec board, not Lilygo. I attached bme280 to the Heltec board.

I connect this Android phone through Bluetooth. The Android phone makes sound when there is close traffic. Lilygo t-beam does not have buzzer/speaker. T-beam made sound when I attached a Piezo speaker on t-beam and modified SoftRF. But the piezo speaker does not make sound loud enough.

No, I have never attached a Piezo speaker on Kobo mini nor on Heltec Cubecell-GPS.
I do not see my region in the SkySight setup within XCSoar, then I get a no forecast data available for your area message. I'm located in Wester Canada, on the SkySight app my Region is US/Canada West. This region is not available within the XCSoar setup of SkySight. Can anyone help?
At my understandings, official XCSoar does not support SkySight, not only your area but also no support of all SkySight images. The XCSoar I ran on this video is a locally modified version and only available on my website. If XCSoar had started support SkySight, you should see your area because SkySight has the image of your area. You may ask your question in forum.xcsoar.org/

The case for SoftRF(t-beam) was printed by my 3D printer. I bought the one of the Android phone from its distributor. You can buy the one for SoftRF from me.

No. Skysight integration uses the timer function which was changed after 14. I couldn't find solution. Also need to re-write as stated in github.com/XCSoar/XCSoar/pull/298.
What hardware is used on the solar power receiver in Chile, near Santiago? Standard RPI+RT-SDR? I am running github.com/roema/Open-Glider-Network-Groundstation with paying attention of its sensitivity.
For best sensitivity, the most important parts are; good antenna, good site, low noise thus either quite site or good filtering to get rid of intermodulation noise if near strong out-of-band RF sources. Use RPI4 and RTLSDR with TCXO and Bias-T for the LNA which should be mounted right at the antenna. Don't spend money or other SDRs, this will not help. Do an initial test: take standard parts and go to the site, put the antenna up and see what you get on the noise level and spectrogram, and then act accordingly. In Santiago they had to use the RF filters everywhere. I remember the first tests: there was just one huge noise from all kind of transmissions.
Did I mention OGN signals and ADS-B signals are transmitted by 0.1 and 5 watt respectively?
OGN is mostly 10 or 20-25mW and ADS-B is nominal 270W I think, but there might be smaller transmitters down to 25W. There is the bandwidth and bitrate factor: OGN is 250kHz wide while ADS-B like 5-6MHz wide and bitrates are 50kbps and 1Mbps for OGN and ADS-B. For a typical OGN receiver SNR is 20dB@10km distance while for ADS-B it is at least 20dB@100km thus the factor 10 in distance. Nevertheless with very good receivers the range can be up to 200km, with record distances like 400km.
I heard Skysight is not available since 18:00-08:00 local time. So try on different time such as 10:00AM.

A general note: long reception of OGN signals is a challenge. It is not as easy at receiving ADS-B signals, which are much stronger and aircrafts are flying high. For good OGN range you need to fight for every dB of SNR. When you are close to strong RF sources like TV/Radio/Cellular tower you may need to employ filters and/or filtered low-noise amplifiers (LNA). However if you stay far from civilization then the most important thing is a good antenna and a good site with open horizon as those signals you want to catch are at the horizon or just below.
For the second question/comment: to run an OGN receiver you need power, internet access and good site for the antenna. If you are "in a desert" you can run on solar power and cellular internet access, as the amount of data the OGN receiver transmits to internet is not huge: about 1kbps when 10 aircrafts are being received. There exist such site. In Chile, near Santiago, there is a solar power receiver on a mountain top which a 50km or so link to the gliding club's internet access point.

For the question asked around 25:00 - yes, putting an OGN-Tracker or SoftRF or another (cheap) device receiveable by OGN in an aircraft makes this glider visible on the OGN in near real time, if in range of an OGN receiver. Recently, we have added LoRaWAN connectivity to the OGN-Tracker, which in some Europe regions works real well. There, even without OGN coverage the aircraft position can still be tracked, just that the position report rate is about one per minute, due to LoRaWAN network bandwidth limits. This has not been tried yet outside Europe, but in principle should work after adjusting the frequencies and transmission parameters.

I configure my Skysight account, the area and I can add the parameters to show, but when I try to activate any parameter, the systems say: "Couldn't display data. @@CazYokoyama I am very interested in your XCSoar apk for Android capable of overlaying Skysight image. My instructer showed me his overlay of Skysight in SeeYou to plan a flight with unmaterialised wave... One problem the linked APK version 30/12/2020 doesn't install on my Samsung S10 using "Package Installer". The install start but then a message pops-up indicating that the installation failed after 20s. Any suggestion. Thank you in advance

@@CazYokoyama yes I first agree for the apk file to be installed. The Android version is Android version 11, One UI Version3.0. Note that have already installed fine XCSoar 7.0 (version 7.0_preview15-Android Apr 8 2020 from apk before (if remember correctly). I have an Aptoide installed on my phone to install apps. Thanks for your help.
